Lake Cleanup
Saturday, June 1, 2024

Mark your calendars for the annual Lake Cleanup, where we come together to remove debris that has recently floated up on your shoreline or debris found floating in the water, keeping our lake pristine.

Type of lake debris that will be accepted for drop-off:

  • Natural debris: Fallen trees and logs.

  • Unnatural debris: Plastic, styrofoam, pieces of cribbing, whole docks.

Please note: We can only accept debris currently floating in the water or previously in the water and could be hazardous if it returns. This is not a landscape initiative where we clean up the waterfront; it is strictly about water cleanup.

Keep an eye on this page for updates about when and where to drop off debris, details about our volunteer BBQ, and information on how we can help with debris pick-up.

Drop-off Point:

We're grateful that Huntsville Marine has generously offered their property as the drop-off point for this year's Lake Cleanup. More details to follow.
